Herbalife International Family Foundation

Now, more than ever, Herbalife is helping to change people’s lives by assisting the victims of the tsunami disaster. Through the creation of the “Tsunami Relief Fund,” the Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) is providing essential aid for children in need.

How We’ve Helped
Herbalife has donated $25,000 to the “Tsunami Relief Fund” and will match donations from employees and Distributors--ten cents to every dollar given to the HFF earmarked “Tsunami Relief Fund.” Herbalife’s goal is to raise $1 million for this special fund, which will benefit two well-established international organizations in the region that focus on the needs of children: Save the Children and SOS Children's Villages.

Save the Children has met the emergency and long-term needs of some of the region's poorest children and families for over 30 years. They have teams on the ground in many of the hardest hit areas with their trucks already in hard-to-reach Aceh Province in Indonesia delivering fuel, supplies, temporary shelter materials and food, especially for children under five.

SOS Children's Villages has been our HFF focus in India for six years. In India, one village in particular, Nagapattinam, was hit very hard by the recent disaster. SOS staff is there now, working in tents providing first aid and moving in more resources to help the children, many of whom lost their parents in the tsunamis.

Because needs will change as time progresses, we will be able to lend financial support for other necessities as they are identified.
